Heriot and Allan is the business name of Robbie Greensitt and Ann Sessoms. They make sets in F, G, and D pitch, and they regard Robert Reid's designs as their principal influence. They will repair only their own pipes, and will not work with ivory. They have sets for hire to those who come to their lessons
They have been making Northumbrian smallpipes for 18 years, and these constitute only part of their business. They also make Scottish smallpipes in A, Bb, C, D (from £689), cabrettes, & Czech dudy. They also supply chanter reeds at £22 each.
They are currently accepting orders, and delivery time is 18-20 months.
A 25% deposit is required when work is started, and their preferred method
of payment is by bankers draft, in sterling.
