Dave makes sets in F, G and D, primarily in Blackwood or Boxwood. Detailed
catalogue available.
He will sometimes repair and refurbish pipes (subject to workload)
and usually has simple, keyless F sets available for hire.
He has been making Northumbrian Smallpipes professionally for more than 20 years and these constitute about half his business. He also makes Scottish smallpipes and Shuttle pipes in D, C, Bb and A as well as Practice/half sets/full sets of Irish pipes and SHAW whistles.
He is accepting orders and waiting time is about 12 months, but possibly shorter for "standard" shuttle sets, please ask. 20% deposit is taken with the balance payable before delivery. Northumbrian Smallpipes prices include cases but not delivery.
He supplies chanter reeds (£18 each) and drone reeds with metal
bodies and cane tongues (small drones) or wooden bodies and cane tongues
(larger drones) £12 each.
